WordPress SEO, performance and migration

A WordPress change can affect more than the design. We review important URLs, technical dependencies and measurement before changes reach the live site.

What we investigate

  • Existing URLs, content, templates and plugin dependencies.
  • Redirects, metadata, forms and measurement in staging.
  • Images, rendering and the actual performance bottlenecks.

What you receive

  • A URL map and migration checklist.
  • Prioritized improvements and documented test results.
  • A release and rollback plan with monitoring of important URLs.
See how I work

From the first question to a tested improvement.

Each project starts with a defined question and ends with a check of what actually changed.

  1. 01

    Understand the problem

We review your website, goals and available evidence.

  2. 02

    Prioritize the work

You receive actions with a reason, an owner and acceptance criteria.

  3. 03

    Implement the changes

We implement agreed changes with testing and a way to roll back.

  4. 04

    Review the result

We retest the changes and distinguish technical results from search traffic trends.

Questions before we work together

Can you guarantee that a migration will not reduce traffic?

No. URL mapping, staging checks, redirect validation and monitoring help identify and reduce risk, but cannot guarantee that traffic will not fluctuate.

Do all plugins or the theme need replacing?

No. We first investigate the cause and dependencies. A replacement is proposed when the need and benefit are clear, with a testing and rollback plan.

Will the PageSpeed score reach 100?

The goal is to improve the real user experience. A lab score does not describe every visitor’s experience, and a fixed score is not guaranteed.
